Actif Signal’s design office is at your disposal to guide and advise you, so that together we can determine the design. With our 4 branches in the 4 corners of France, we can help you with your projects, wherever you are. Keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies, we design, install, maintain and guarantee the longevity of your sign.

A production site in France

Actif Signal designs and manufactures your sign panels in its 6,000 m² factory near Le Mans, in the Sarthe department. Digital printing, neon, trichromatic LED… We have the high-performance equipment needed for the various manufacturing techniques required to produce your sign. Graphic software, digital printing machines, plotter for cutting adhesives… Our team has the right equipment to meet your expectations and provide you with the sign or signage you need.

Installation and maintenance service

Installation is carried out by our qualified teams (electrical and aerial work platform qualifications, etc.), who have their own workshop trucks, or by our approved subcontracting partners covering the whole of France.
We also offer our customers maintenance of their product in 2 ways:

  • Cleaning and safety checks (preventive maintenance excluding parts replacement) ;
  • Extended warranty including cleaning, safety inspection, parts, labor (preventive and corrective maintenance).

We also draw up and keep a technical file for each brand, listing all the characteristics of the product(s) we service. In this way, we are able to cover needs that are not covered by maintenance contracts.

Actif Signal is a committed and responsible partner! In 2023, Actif Signal receives the EcoVadis Platinium medal for its CSR performance and commitment to sustainable development - Top 1% of companies assessed by EcoVadis! As the world's largest collaborative platform, EcoVadis evaluates companies' CSR performance based on 21 criteria, divided into four themes: environment, working conditions, business ethics and supply chain. Actif Signal achieved an overall score of 81/100, earning it the Platinum Medal, the highest distinction awarded by EcoVadis. This recognition underlines Actif Signal's ongoing commitment to environmental protection, human rights and ethics. The Platinum medal reflects our CSR approach, which has been integrated into our global strategy and strengthened over the years. In 2022, Actif Signal was awarded the EcoVadis Gold medal, ranking among the top 2% of companies assessed. In 2023, we reached a new milestone by being awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal, becoming the first sign and signage company in France to achieve this level of excellence.

ISO 14001

Since July 15, 2010, Actif Signal has been ISO 14001 certified by bureau veritas certification, and will be ISO 14001:2015 certified as of 2016. Since its creation, ACTIF SIGNAL has been committed to respecting the environment. Today, we have obtained ISO 14001 certification in recognition of our commitment to the environment. Commitment to quality Actif Signal is certified Qualif’Enseigne Signalétique 3 stars. We are committed to an ongoing process of service quality, involving all Actif Signal employees. This approach is based on the Qualif’Enseigne Signalétique service certification framework, which we are committed to respecting. The aim of these standards, drawn up in partnership with professionals, customers and public authorities, is to provide our customers with the best possible service.

Environmental commitment

Since its creation, Actif Signal has been committed to quality of service (Qualif’Enseigne) and respect for the environment.
Since July 15, 2010, our company has also been certified ISO 14001 by Bureau Veritas.

This action is the logical continuation of the commitments and the citizen approach taken by Actif Signal, as well as by all the company’s employees.
The objectives of this approach are :

  • to make the company part of sustainable development and respect for the environment;
  • anticipate future rules and standards;
  • to meet the environmental requirements of our partners;
  • mobilize staff around a corporate project;
  • a civic-minded approach.


Actif Signal is committed to respecting the objectives defined within the framework of ISO 14001 certification, and to guaranteeing services that respect sustainable development in economic, social and environmental terms.

The company is also committed to prevention in terms of resource management and waste optimization and recovery. This translates into :

  • reprocessing of inks and toners ;
  • recycling of lamps and tubes by a specialized company;
  • recycling of high-voltage transformers by our suppliers;
  • recovery and storage of neon tubes in special collectors before processing;
  • regular maintenance of our vehicle fleet.

All the measures and commitments made by Actif Signal are designed to evolve and be reinforced in order to constantly strive for better environmental results.
