Marcel Bich, inventor of the famous Cristal pen that has sold over 100 billion units worldwide since 1950, would no doubt be delighted to learn that the group he founded in 1945, now headed by his grandson Gonzalve Bich, has chosen to remain in Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine), just a few streets from where the brand was born.
The ballpoint pen giant moves into new premises in the heart of the new Clichy-Batignolles district, in the E-conic building opposite the new courthouse.
Bic is a behemoth, with 13,000 employees worldwide, including 1,800 in France, and sales of 1.83 billion euros in 2021.
